Connecting Children With Homes
The Connecting Children and Families program takes the time to understand each child’s past, needs, and goals for the future. Families that provide patience, guidance, and structure for children who have experienced behavioral health challenges can create a positive outcome for the most vulnerable children in our state. We believe that every child has the potential to develop into a positive member of their community

NCNW is committed to erasing the race and gender wealth gap. Specifically, we seek to increase awareness about the importance of acquiring and growing assets within the Black community in general, and specifically among African American women. Women’s economic empowerment includes women’s ability to participate equally in existing markets; their access to and control over productive resources, access to decent work, control over their own time, lives and bodies; and increased voice, agency and meaningful participation in economic decision-making at all levels from the household to international institutions.
Helping Children All Over the World
We advocate for keeping childhood a positive experience as we address trauma and the fulfillment of the basic needs in life. We push for policy and programs that support healthy and safe living, learning and working environments in all communities. We work for equitable treatment of all children and provide them with an opportunites to rebound. We advocate to ensure that all young people get the resources, education and supports they need to thrive.
